Florence's one year update

Dear Florence,

How are you one already!? It went so quickly with Jackson but this time seems even quicker!!! What an amazing year it has been.

This month we had your 10/12 month check which you aced! We also had lots of your friends birthday party's this month.

For your birthday Dada had the day off, so we went to Jo jingles, as we normally do, and then, afterwards, we went to a new Soft Play, which both you and your brother loved. Then at the weekend, we had the family over for some food and of course lots of presents - you were so spoilt.

A couple of weeks after your birthday we had a birthday/naming ceremony for you. It was so much fun and you were so well behaved! Gigi came over to celebrate with you, which is always amazing to have her over.

You had a reaction to eggs when you were about 7 months, so we had an appointment with the allergy testing department but you got the all clear, which is brilliant news.

Milestones

You now have 12 teeth. You got all 4 molars at the same time and you were really not yourself! We felt so sad for you but hoping that you'll have a break from teeth now.

At about 11 and 1/2 months you started walking and you are now pretty much running! It was so lovely to see you walking around at your birthday party.

You haven't got many new words but you have started saying 'Hiya'.

Just like your brother was, you are into everything!!! Luckily everything is baby proofed already but if I leave anything out or the door to the hallway open, you are out or up the stairs like a shot!

Routine

8:00am - Wake up

8:30am - Breakfast; porridge, toast and banana
9:00am - Get dressed and play
10:00am - Nap; often in your carseat as we go out

Weight

You are mainly in 9-12 month clothes but you got so many 12-18 month bits for your birthday, so I am rolling up legs and sleeves so that they fit you! You now weigh 17lbs 8oz and are on the 9th percentile. I know that you shouldn't compare but your brother weighed 25lbs 2oz at this point, which makes me laugh - how can my 2 children be so different! Haha!

Love you so mu
ch.
