On this day four years ago, Chris and I were at the start of
our six week holiday travelling around South-East Asia. We were in Bali on the beach
having a drink when Chris proposed!
Chris and I had been together for six and a half years by then and we had discussed marriage and both agreed that one day we would
like to get married.
However, despite already discussing this, we had never talked about when we might do it as it was always future talk, so it was still a complete shock when Chris got down on one knee! It was one of
the best days of my life (of course, aside from when Jackson was born - that was
another level!). It has to be one of the
most special feelings in the world when somebody tells you that they love you so much that they want to spend the rest of their life with you!
After a wedding, a blessing in Greece, a few holidays and throwing a baby into the mix, we have three years of marriage under our belt (you
can read Chris’ blog if any of you men need any tips ;) )!
I wonder what the next four years will be
like?? I reckon a few more holidays are in order, hopefully a few weddings (for friends, not
me!!!) and maybe a play mate or two for Jackson!? Who knows!
